Your initial consultation with Dr. Pranikoff includes a review of your medical history, the performance of any tests required, and an explanation of your diagnosis and treatment options. A second appointment can then be made to have the appropriate treatment performed. The treatment may be started and even completed, if time allows, on the same day as the consultation.

Could you possibly assist us by providing us your endodontic referral slip and any X-rays if applicable at the time of your consultation?

A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 years of age at the consultation visit. Please alert Dr. Pranikoff or one of our team members if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) Please bring a list of any medications you may be taking as prescribed by your physician. Also, please bring with you, for your initial appointment, any medications prescribed by your dentist.

If your referring dentist has provided you with x-rays please bring them with you at the time of your consultation with Dr. Pranikoff. Alternatively, you can have your dental office forward them to us. If the quality of the x-rays does not allow Dr. Pranikoff a proper diagnosis, or if the x-rays are not recent, additional images may be taken at our office. Dr. Pranikoffb> uses the very latest in digital x-ray technology and he will want to take further diagnostic images to have them in his computers so he can manipulate them to more accurately diagnose your problem. Any x-rays you bring along can, most certainly, be of help. Digital x-ray technology allow for the images to be made with a greatly reduced amount of radiation.
